Spelling Magic Words
Share
After learning how to recognise and say a word, children need to start learning how to spell and write each word. The next step in the heirarchy of learning a word is to trace the word, thus scaffolding the learning between reading to writing.
Use a water based marker on the front of the Magic Words Learning Board to practice tracing the Magic Words in the level the child is learning.
Wipe the Learning Board clean and keep practicing.
Make a magical sensory tray for practicing early writing.
Use homemade fairy dust (sand, milo, glitter) and exciting added extras!
